What Is PDW All About ?
The Professional Development Week (PDW) 2026 held by the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Students and Interns (CAPSI) is an exciting opportunity for pharmacy students across the country to get together and not only discover everything Quebec city has to offer but also engage in a variety of activities.
This four-day conference includes National CAPSI competitions, galas, award ceremonies, keynote speakers, a motivational speaker, guest speakers and breakout sessions. There are also many opportunities to network with students from all 11 pharmacy schools across Canada. PDW allows delegates to engage in a variety of professional and educational activities while also exchanging with students from all over Canada.
During the week, various activities will take place, including competitions such as Patient interview, Over the Counter and Compounding. Canada’s next top pharmacist will also be crowned at PDW. The popular pharmacy trivia competition, Pharmafacts, will also be presented this year along with an opening and closing gala which are excellent networking opportunities. The health fair offers an excellent opportunity to communicate with students and allows them to see what various companies have to offer.
